Livestream 5/9/2013!
« on: May 01, 2013, 09:58:47 PM »
Just a heads up all: we'll be doing our monthly live stream on Thursday, May 9th @ 2PM CDT (GMT-5).

You can watch via our new Twitch.tv page at http://www.twitch.tv/pixelscopic. We'll be discussing the results from the class voting survey, the Kickstarter-specific Harlequin class, and the special addition Musketeer class. On top of that we'll be talking about the recent modifications to our production process and how we go about creating rooms for level generation. And as always we'll be taking questions throughout the stream.

Come hang out with us for a bit! The stream will be going for about an hour but can be viewable afterwards if you're not available during that time. Hope to see you there!

just a quick question(if i can ask it here :P)
how are you guys handeling youtubers and livestreamers? for showing like alpha/beta gameplay.
i mean iam a small streamer.

Thanks for taking the time to watch! We figured out what the crazy echo was coming from (after the fact, of course...) so hopefully the next one will be a bit better.

Regarding videos of gameplay:

There really isn't anything we can do to *stop* people from streaming the game, so it's better for us to embrace it :) Our only concern / request is that if you're showing Alpha or Beta gameplay footage, please communicate that to your audience. Delver's Drop has a lot of features and these are going to be added in chunks over the course of the testing sessions, so we don't want to give people an incorrect impression of what status the game is currently in. That's all :)

As we get closer to Alpha we'll have a more "official" set of guidelines.

well first of all thanks for the reply ^^

and its actually a given that you say its still in alpha and that everything in the game can change.

ill be looking forward to play the game and i hope i will love it as much as games like the binding of isaac/mineraft or dungeons of dredmor.

and on another part on the next livestream are you thinking of showing some new gameplay?
would be pretty awesome
