Welcome & Board Etiquette
« on: April 15, 2013, 11:43:03 PM »
We offer a hearty greeting, friends and forum users! Welcome to our humble abode. It is our goal to build and nurture a rich and festive community on these boards and we are very glad that you have chosen to read and/or participate.

We currently have no strict rules for the forums or policies on behavior; these will be added if issues arise but we hope that isn't necessary :) In short, follow Wheaton's Law and let's try and have a good time here!

Important Note! The private boards for Kickstarter backers relating to the closed Alpha and Beta access are not up yet. Once we get the kinks worked out with this initial forum launch we'll be giving KS backers access to the relevant private boards.

Its great to see this up and running, nice and clean interface!

About the KS forums/boards, will those just be separate sections found here on this forum? Versus an entirely separate system.

I believe they will be boards on this forum. So basically a separate section that is only visible or accessible to those who have the proper masking.

Correct. They actually exist right now but are permissions-based. Once we get closer to Alpha we'll be running an update to the system that assigns users to their appropriate group based on email address. As a reminder, this is why it's important that you use the same email here on the forums as you did to back the Kickstarter, since that's the only point of cross-reference we have.

Glad to have you all here, and we're looking forward to getting to know you better in the coming months!

GAH!  I didn't do this upon creating my account.  However, I just changed it in my profile.  Will that suffice?   :-[

I could be wrong, but it should't matter which e-mail you signed up with as long as the current e-mail attached to your account is the same one. Since you changed that e-mail, it should suffice. ;)

Forums at last! So awesome to see em up and running, everything's looking nice and fancy! :)

I've been missing talking with the rest of the community since the livestream, I look forward to keeping up with everyone now that we've got an official place to discuss the game. I'm not a big forum prowler, but hopefully I'll take a quick look on here every once in a while. Very excited to be here, I'll see you guys around! ;)
