I like the narrator of Bastion, but the actual game gets rather weak towards the end.
See that's when I thought it started getting more interesting with..

I meant gameplay wise.

How so? I didn't think it changed at all.

Fighting foes became rahter mundane. At least the had the option of gods to spice things up a tiny bit.
I really did enjoy the use of their gods to put a cripple on you and buff up your enemies.  Allowed you to customize your level of difficulty.  Hope Delvers Drop has something similar.

Combat, at least as far as I felt, was the worst part of the game. Not that it was bad mind you, just the most lack luster part of the game.

It definitively could of had it's improvements, but I enjoyed it as well as the many different weapons, even though I never used anything but the War Machete and Breaker's Bow my first play through xP  Overall though as y'all can see I really loved Bastion to no end.. I even snagged me this little Scumbag out of love for the game!

Ahaha thanks!  He's on my "Nerd Shelf"  I enjoy collection nerd and game related objects/memorabilia  and he is one of my faves!  My "Nerd Shelf" is rather small atm due to just moving into my own place and finally being able to start this shelf of awesomeness but it's growing!  Can't wait to put some Delvers Drop items up onto it!

I have some collectibles from games, mostly Nintendo stuff though.  Lots of books from video games...

This. I love artbooks from games (and guides). Sadly newer games just include the artbooks in their ultra edition which are too expensive for my taste.

Which is why I don't have any art books.. I'd love to start getting some though.  Why is it so expensive!?

Kingdoms of Amalur and Skyrim have the nicest in existence in my opinion!

Because bundeling a 25$ book with a 60$ game (store prices not even talking about reduced factory ones) into a 100$ pack drives in more chash. Someone figured that people who'd buy artbooks are the same that would buy collectors editions.

(PS: Artbooks don't counts as books for the book-thread do they?)

Chrono Cross' multiple endings were kinda cool in a different way from Chrono Triggers.  In your first playthrough there were only two endings after completing the story: one being the true ending, and the other being a sort of "oops, try again" ending.  I originally got the oops ending and found it a little frustrating after spending so much time on the game, but I later rectified that.

The real multiple ending shine in Chrono Cross is that on New Game+, you could choose to face the final boss at any point in the story.  The story's ending would then be based on what was happening in the game world at that time.  I can see why this was saved for NG+, since they wanted you to see the full story and not cut it short, but the ability to choose where the story ends and see how the world would proceed without your further involvement is a pretty nifty idea.

Chrono Cross gets  a lot of hate....to much imho. I loved that game to pieces. The magic system was awesome and the cast of characters was expansive but unique.

I think the only reason it gets hate is the same reason DIII gets hate.  Both great games, but both came after a game that was essentially legendary.
