Culinary thread of Delicious Intent
« on: August 22, 2014, 10:03:06 AM »
So I thought it might be a good idea to have a thread in the Chit-Chat forum about Food. What is the goal of this thread? Well to be honest it is simple as pie. Share pictures of some of your most delicious meals or even recipes. Discuss what is best on a certain food or the best way to make it. I am almost certain we have some chefs or food fanatics surfing around these forums and working at Pixelscopic.

Personally I am a person that is really into BBQ, wings, pizza, salad, just about anything really. Or I am atleast willing to try it.

So here is a simple but amazing recipe for any challenge:

Pickle Sandwich-
1. Slice of amazing bread (or your favorite)
2. Delicious peanut butter (Crunchy or smooth)
3. 1 Pickle Spear ( I find that Dill is usually the best because of the crisp crunch)

And there you go, a high energy snack of delicious and satisfying proportions.

Most of Vas' cooking videos in a nutshell:

1. Take food.
2. Deep fry it.
3. Wait.
4. ????
5. HEART ATTA... I mean ... PROFIT!

Except not, if you look at the average it's not even close to half.

I think it might be more likely I'd die of hyperglycemia long before I died of a heart attack. XD

I DON'T WANT TO HEAR. LALALALALAL CAN'T HEAR YOUUUU!
Actually I like raw vegetables and similar things a lot of people dislike, so an amazing taste & being health is obtainable for me.   ;D

Except not, if you look at the average it's not even close to half.

You know that it's a joke! :undelver:

So Vas, how much experience do you have with flambeing? Can we ever expect that in 8:30 to awesome?

I know, I know. I even have a vegetarian dish planned! As for flambeing...not a whole really. It'd be nice for the presentation I suppose and I have a recipe I've been holding on to that requires it but I'm not exactly sure when I'll be doing it on the channel. Mostly because the alcohol that's called for is rather expensive and not a flavor I care for. Blech Cognac.

Another photo, this time a mixed drink. The Blue Candle.

A half shot of Ghost Chili infused Vodka, a half shot of Sichuan Peppercorn Vodka, 3 shots of Blue Curacao and sprite to fill up the glass.

Yeah? Pretty much everything I cook has ghost chili's included in some capacity. At least on this thread. Or I add it after it's plated.
