Hey all, my name is Blair (Dynimix) and I found out about Delver's Drop on Kickstarter as I am constantly searching for new action RPGs to play.  For years I have been searching for an HD style Link to the Past, and when I saw this gorgeous game that basically fit the exact game I was looking for, I immediately backed.

A little bit about me:

I am an avid gamer, reader, aspiring author, huge MMA fan, and I own a small game development company and video game news site. I am a huge proponent of the epic fantasy genre in general, whether it be books, games, movies, etc.  I have played Delver's Drop (Infinite Drop mode) and I can attest that this game is everything you want in a game and more!

Started with Shiren -> POWDER (if anyone has heard of it).

Ooh, POWDER. One of two homebrew games I keep on my Nintendo DS, though I must admit I've played less of it than the DS port of OpenTyrian. Granted, Tyrian was one of my favorite games as a kid, which probably gives away my approximate age.

That's ferrofluid affected by a magnetic field right?

Indeed it is. :<

My name is John. I was born at a very young age so I don't remember much, except the doctor that slapped me. Him I'm still looking for. Anything from back then is just rumor and conjecture  ;D I've been playing video games since they have been around. OK, so I'm a video game junkie! *ahem*

Really looking forward to this game coming out. Right now I have NO idea which class I'm going to vote for, but I'm leaning towards Templar, Elementalist and Bard.

Greetings.

I am an illustrator and a cook from the East Coast. I'm a giant fan of music and have been recently been garnering a growing interest in Indie games. I love trivia, learning things, and have way too many hobbies/interests.

That's a pretty good basic look at me.

Hi all, Kotaku is responsible for my discovery of this title, watched the video and thought "Where is this game!? I must have it... now!" Never backed a kickstater before this one. Looks completely worth it. Electronic engineer, gamer. 8)

What is "Wraith Bone" in your signature? I really like the art style :)

Hello! I'm a graphic designer in South Florida. I found out about Delver's Drop from some gaming site and supported the Kickstarter. I guess the only other way to identify myself is on the livestream the night the KS ended I was the one that suggested the Bomber class have a bomb hat with a wick, haha. Can't wait for this game and to enjoy the community interaction that comes from it! :)

Man, glad someone started this thread. It's really awesome to hear about your backgrounds. We've got some short bio stuff posted on the main Pixelscopic site, but Iill throw in a short bit about myself here:

I'm married, with a son who is six months old. I graduated from Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science in Electronic Arts (Multimedia Emphasis). I worked a variety of web design and development gigs before landing with the Pixelscopic team. I left console gaming by the wayside after the big jump to 3D and have since been almost strictly a PC gamer - the SNES holds a special place in my heart though. I still have LAN parties with a local group of friends every 3 months or so, and I play D&D on Friday nights. I enjoy long walks on the beach.

Hello people.

I'm an electromechanics engineer from Sonora, México. I haven't been working more as a programmer and web developer more than anything though haha.

Some of my hobbies are playing videogames, music, and drawing, as well as chatting with friends and stuff. I also have a tumblr where I upload some of my drawings. Here it is in case you wanna check it out. =)

I found Delver's Drop through Destructoid, a blog about gaming, and well... I just fell in love with the art direction and what it promised back then with the gameplay elements. I LOVE random adventuring, so I knew this would be the perfect game for me. Needless to say, I backed it up during the KS campaign. Glad to see it made it far, and got to include multiplayer modes, which I was really looking forward to as well.

Well, see you all around!

Heya,  Lazy Geek here, literally, at least most of the time.  Huge fan of the game and I don't remember how I came across it, but am glad I did.  I'm a twenty*mumble*mumble* gaming enthusiast in between moving down to Florida (tomorrow, actually) with about a million and one projects I'm working on, including an epic D&D campaign and, eventually, playing around with modding Delver's!

Hello. I'm a 30+ Linux player, and I'm interested in the modding aspects of the game. Do we know yet how the modding is going to work?

I haven't read anything too descript yet, but I assume when the game's further along we'll get more information.  I'm looking forward to modding the game as well and am very excited to see what can be done with it.

Hello everyone,

In short, I am a college student majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Business and Computer Science.

I found Delver's Drop around the time when it was first added to Kickstarter. However, being the broke student that I am, I did not back it immediately. Not long before the Kickstarter was to end, I convinced myself to take the chance and back the project. Now, after seeing gameplay of the early build of the game, as well as how active the developers are in the community, I do not regret my investment in the slightest. The project and the developers have a large amount of potential, and I am eager to see the final product.

I must also say that I am grateful to be a part of the early, developing community here and, eventually, I hope to see it blossom into something great.

Best wishes to you all,
Draithix

SPCdave here, but I'll just use Dave on these boards. Glad to see these up.

I work at a large broker in Saint Louis. In my free time, I play games, but I just came off of two years making webcomics. I'll start up something new in a while, but at this point I don't know what. I'll try to fill up that fanart area a bit.

I like photography...

At a glance I read this as "I like pornography..."  :P

Haha, cheers all.

I'm Gil from Seattle, WA.  I work in the gaming industry and very excited for this game.  Backed it in a heartbeat and looking forward to what PG has in store for us!

Love gaming, more gaming, and gaming.  I also do tabletop board games, collect and restore classic arcade machines, collect retro games and consoles, help put on and organize the Seattle Retro Gaming Expo (SRGE), and I'm a full-time footy/soccer referee and SSFC supporter.

Hello World! I am a college student finishing up my Associates in Digital Media. I am currently a Teacher's Assistant in classes that cover Digital Media stuff. (Programming/scripting, Adobe software, sometimes game design but never enough of it!) I am working my way up to be a teacher in this department.

I backed DDrop because I love hard games, 2D Zeldas, really love Roguelike-likes, and of course because the art style is too delicious. (Really, you had me as a backer just by the art, then the gameplay took me to $50.) My OS of choice is Mac OS X, or OS X Mountain Lion to be specific, and I use a 15" Retina MacBook Pro. I also have a Windows partition, so I will be testing on both. (Linux can also be arranged, need it be.) Can't wait to be a part of the testing. :3
Retina MacBook Pro for life + Win 8 for gaming + Ubuntu for home server box = happy Vacant! :3

Salutations, everyone!  I'm really excited about the forums and glad someone started this thread!  Y'all can call me Deltius, I'm from a small city in Louisiana and currently in college for graphic design.  I enjoy all things nerdy, gaming, and art!  As much as I love sitting indoors and playing a game or watching Firefly, I also really enjoy nature and love to go walking/exploring!  I also have a Leopard Gecko named Atlas who is freaking hype!  As far as discovering Delvers Drop goes; one day I decided to browse Kickstarter rather than study for a huge test I had, and the Rogue's picture caught my attention.  Upon clicking the Kickstarter page I was incredibly intrigued and knew this game just had to be made and I felt obligated to help out as much as possible!  I'm really looking forward to the game and experiencing it's development with all of you!  If you have any questions about me or anything, feel free to ask!
