Hee-ho!

I am from Germany, an university student and a gamer (big surprise...Why else would I support a game?).

Hey everyone!

I'm currently enrolled at Becker College in Massachusetts for a major in Game Design; I'm focusing in 2D and 3D art and I've got a pretty decent affinity for writing, but overall I want to learn as much as I can in a little bit of everything so I can contribute as much as possible when and if I do eventually become a game developer, basically my dream job. :D I'm finishing up my Freshman year in the next couple of weeks, so I'm pretty excited for that, that's more or less where I'm at right now.

Still, what I'm even more excited for is all the great projects that have been funded on Kickstarter recently: Delver's Drop, Shovel Knight and The Reward: Tales of Alethrion. So much good Fantasy stuff coming out, I'm glad that we're able to be a part of helping these projects get released, I just wish it didn't make my wallet hurt so much (so worth it though).

Really happy that we've got a forum running now, it's great to finally be able to connect with fellow future Delvers and talk games and other awesome stuff. Can't wait to talk more with you all, catch you later!

Hey Folks,
I'm an early 20s grad with a degree in mechanical engineering. I currently coach gymnastics and work doing mechanical design for a new video game controller with implications to iOS and eventually android, right now it's just a small start-up with four of us working on development but we're looking to show at PAX eventually and I for one, am very excited.  :D
I was super excited when I saw this game because I really enjoyed Isaac, Spelunky and other rogue-likes. I am a gamer to the core and I love my RPGs, especially when there's a definitive skill curve. I can't wait to sink my teeth into this game!

Sup guys! I'm currently a computer science major at New Paltz, and an aspiring game developer. I saw this game thanks to the Binding of Isaac wiki and got to play it at PAX East. I just started a gaming blog called Sprites and Dice with a friend of mine, and actually wrote about Delver's Drop there.

It's interesting to be on a forum again after disappearing from The Cover Project and Noobtoob a couple years ago. Let's see if I can keep up with this one. :)

Hi everyone,

I go by Fuji and I'm a software engineer.  I was able to play this game at PAX East and talk a little with the developers and I'm really excited to start playing it at home.

If you're unemployed and didn't have the money to contribute then you shouldn't feel sorry for not contributing. It's just a game and I'm sure you're as excited as the rest of the of us. :)

Hey, I'm Matthew! I'm a graphic designer, with a love for typography and pixel art. I'm generally pretty reserved, but when the right topics are discussed, I tend to get pretty verbose. My favorite games are Final Fantasy 6, Chrono Trigger, ActRaiser, Legend of Zelda: LttP etc., etc... With most mainstream games of late being uninteresting to me, I've taken to inde games, as of late. I feel that indie games are created with the same spirit that classic games were. It's that endearing aspect that I've always held dear.

I discovered Delver's Drop, and subsequently Pixelscopic, at a small, local gaming expo where I witnessed and tested the month-old version of the game. What can I say? I was hooked.
UI / UX Design at Pixelscopic. As for now, the forum stuff hates me and keeps demoting me to Early Access instead of a Pixelscopic team member. Don't worry though—I'm a legitimate employee.

HEYOOO! I'm ArmoredKoko47, Eric in real life. I am graduating from high school next month and getting a job as a machinist soon after which is pretty exciting. Probably going back to college to major in something fun like game design or programming or something in those lines. I saw this game from peeps like NorthernLion and EpicNameBro and helped back this game out. Really excited since I just got into youtube as a hobby and sooooo looking forward to learning more about this game and helping out everyone in it! Can't wait to meet some cool people here on the forums just as stoke as me for this game. See you guys in here! :D

I am a middle school student (a very nerdy one for that matter :D) and happened to stumble upon Kickstarter, then Stumbled on an amazing game AKA Delver's Drop. I instantly became obsessed, backed it, told all my friends about it, and stalked the Kickstarter page every day. Now I landed here to get out my Delver's Drop questions and answers.

That's Me!

Hey everyone! I'm Vasae from 8:30 to Awesome! Love video games, cooking and Role Playing Games in general. Saw NorthernLion's Let's Look at of this and decided it was a game I just had to help support. Reminds me of schoolboy days playing solo D&D adventures with buddies. Not much else to say! See ya in game!

    • Lobster's List for Kickstarter
Re: Introduce Yourself

Greetings.

Canadian here. I collect speed cubes, films, anime and carnivorous plants.

I have fond memories of playing Zelda games on Nintendo handhelds. Link's Awakening DX was one of the first games I had for GameBoy Color.

Most of the games I play now are indie games. I've backed over 550 projects on Kickstarter since 2011 and was one of the first 10 backers on Delver's Drop. As a hobby, I help reboot Kickstarter campaigns and make Lobster's List for Kickstarter episodes.
Often a day 1 backer of Kickstarter projects.

I'm Ebucel and I live near the "Gateway to the West" like SPCDave.

Loved the look of the game as it reminded my of the Zelda LTTP SNES Game (which is getting a sequel or something like it)
