So - is Delver's Drop actually dead, now?
« on: December 02, 2016, 02:29:36 PM »
The last update to the Kickstarter was in February, and the last update to the website looks like it was back in 2014. Pushing 11 months without an update makes me think that Pixelscopic has given up on this game, which is pretty frustrating for backers. The demos were looking pretty good, up until the point where it dropped off the radar.

I just came here wondering the same thing. It looked so full of potential.

Another frustrated backer here.

It's completely unacceptable of Pixelscopic to leave us in the dark like this. I know there was an art stream on the 9th of December, so it doesn't look completely dead.

If any member of the Delver's Drop team reads this. I implore you to start giving us regular monthly updates about your progress. Even if it's just very minor things. We need to know how far along you are and what is yet to be done. It's the least you can do after we've given you our money and since you're still under active development.

I suggest you create an official blog, where you post updates with images, vids and other game info. And to soothe frustrated backers, send out a Kickstarter update explaining that from now on, all future updates can be found on your blog. That would be the way to right this wrong and to keep the flame alive for your game.

A Kickstarter update should have gone out at the start of the Month. Wish I could tell you more.

Hey

So what's the status of the game now? If it's dead is there a way to get my money back?

Hi, Shin. The game is definitely not dead, and we are still in active production. I apologize that the forums have gone to the wayside in the meantime, but please don't take it as a sign that we aren't working! Hey Ryan,

Thank you for the answer. I was just worried because it got very silent around the game for quite some time. Glad to see that you still working on it because it really has a lot of potential. I hope 2017 will be a very succesful year for you all. I'm really looking forward to play it. Will there be an updated demo version soon?

Is there any chance that we other longtime (but not kickstarter) backers from early 2014 get included in the original backer-bonus-character release?
I mean there's a handful of month between kickstarter and early backing but years between planned and actual release.
It'ld be a nice gesture if you could include us early backers at least in the set of announced bonus characters :)

P.S: I'm glad to see you guys are still working on this. Your post really gave us some hope ;)
