The program is being picked up on 2 anti viruses I have never even heard of, don't be alarmed I can assure you it is not a virus, just being detected as one because this process does read/write memory to and from DDrop

Neat - very interesting.

I wasn't able to get it to work unfortunately - I figured out that it needs the exe to be named "ddrop.exe" to be able to attach (most of our internal builds do not use that naming convention, so I just renamed one) and was able to attach to the respective process - but editing the data fields didn't seem to reflect anything in game? I'm probably just dumb though :)

Nah not dumb. I've been using this library called Elysium for the UI which sometimes has issues exporting correctly, but then again you said you got it open. If you were using a debug build renamed to ddrop.exe then it wont work. If you have a pointer in the engine for player hp and shield and stuff the chances I found those actual ones are small. Most hacks like this utilize static pointers made during the build process so get the distro from Humble Bundle and try to use that. Also if you have made any changes to the code since 0.7.5 and try to use it, it probably wont work because the addresses have changed

Downloaded the new version and unpacked the 0.7.5 Humble archive I had -- it works like a charm.

I'm impressed - this is pretty bad ass.

Health/shields/god mode/position/money all seems to work fine and dandy. You can really break the game with this thing :)

Also - when you post new versions, just make a new post instead of editing your old post - otherwise it will never show up in my "view unread threads" list and I'll miss things and be a sad panda.
