I wonder if Elementalists might be able to utilize Elementalings in any way XD Imagine if Candlewraiths ended up becoming sources of fire ammo for an Elementalist! That'd be pretty neat.

Probably my favorite of the bunch would have to be the November 13th post. Very mysterious, I can only imagine what it means by "The truth behind this legend isn't quite so glamorous". Hoping to see it implemented in gameplay in some way, maybe playing through picking up every little piece of gold you can might bring up a strange, sketchy opportunity, I'm personally thinking something Midas Touch-esque, being immortalized as a golden statue, sorta like the Poe Souls quest guy from Twilight Princess:

While I'd love to see (as smash :P) delvers turned into golden statues, I think this is a hint towards the Undelver.

Yeah, that's most likely what it refers to. I do question though, what makes greedy Delvers in particular turn into Undelvers while normal ones wouldn't? Maybe there's a specific type of Undelver that is cursed in some way by its greed? Midas Undelvers? Undelvers that get more aggressive the more gold you're carrying? I'd imagine there'd at least be something small to set them apart.

I think the "Truth of the legend" part absolves the rest of it. It's unlikely it has something to do with their particular money lust and instead perhaps something in the Drop that attracts the particularly greedy which also has a curse on it. Like a cursed tomb or something. Some Delver's would cut and run while the "really greedy" ones would say screw the warnings and take some money or artifact etc and thus become the Undelver. Or what ever monster they're referring too.

Basically evil souls unwilling to let go of life and their possessions?

By that logic though almost every living person in this world's greedy (which could be seen as partially true depending on how you look at the concept of greed). I was thinking more excess in desiring wealth and possessions rather than just being materialistic. If a Rogue wants to keep her stuff in death I don't know that I'd call her greedy for it, maybe just clinging to the past too much.

No more like a grave robber who was cursed for disturbing a tomb. Rogue X regards the "Enter and you will certainly perish." and goes "Screw that noise." while Rogue Y says "I don't care, look at the bidet of solid gold! I can't leave that behind!" and then they die and get reanimated.

I can get behind that explanation. Now all I'm gonna be able to think is that Undelvers are the Indiana Jones rejects of the Drop though XD Just HAD to grab that golden idol and get crushed by a giant boulder didn't ya.

Vas I say you cracked the code!

There are the graves of the royal family in DDrop(I think they were called sepulcher rooms or something). Betraying them/stealing from them could get you cursed.

Oh I just love these discussions.  HeHeHe ;D ;D ;D
UI / UX Design at Pixelscopic. As for now, the forum stuff hates me and keeps demoting me to Early Access instead of a Pixelscopic team member. Don't worry though—I'm a legitimate employee.

Love the sound of this!  Can't wait to play the Musketeer!!
