Disenchanted with a wealthy upbringing, Musketeers find an escape in military alchemy and marksmanship.

The wealthy background would explain why they can carry around weapons despite being no thinkers. Simply put the latest boomsticks and finetune the blasting process yourself!

Hey, I love what you've been doing with the front. Makes things a bit more neat

Thanks! Trying to keep improving it. I'll probably migrate all this info once the Wiki gets up and running or maybe update both.

And here I was, trying to tell Matthew (KING OF LORE) that I'd love to add this stuff to the wiki.

Musketeers are very conscious of style and execution, and may take offense if someone dies the “wrong” way.
February 10th, 2014

How exectly does that work? Keeping the enemy hanging on a thin thread until they can think of another style of execution?

Not exactly. It's more like they're obsessed with "the plan". Remember the earlier tweet where we mentioned Rube Goldberg? Well, Musketeers have the tendency to want control of everything that happens, even if it's a completely ridiculous, convoluted plan.

So they're Tarquin from Order of the Stick?

While intelligent and brutally tactful, Musketeers are notorious for their ridiculous obsession with “the plan.”

Desperate for companionship & status, a Musketeer may often mention a “noble steed.” The steed in question has never been seen.

I think the Musketeers might have a penchant for huffing magical gunpowder or something, they seem a little bit delirious!

Also, the whole execution idea of someone dying "the wrong way" makes me think a bit of Ocelot in Metal Gear Solid 3; the Musketeer gets so caught up in trying to be really stylish and fancy, adhering to "The Plan" that they make amateur, clumsy mistakes and get frustrated over it. They want to send a bunch of bats hurtling down a bottomless pit at the end of the rooms all at once so they toss a bomb at the group to propel them into the hole, but overshoot the bomb and end up sending a horde of now-flightless bats waddling around on the ground and biting at their feet. Pretty great! XD
