I'll be posting a few work-in-progress images of Delver's Drop artwork in this thread from time to time.

I'm currently working on the Gladiator's 8 different facing direction angles.

Oh, awesome! I don't even need to upload an archive for these then! XD Looking great, glad to be able to attend most of the stream this afternoon. Gladiator's looking amazing. Also, I didn't notice until now that he has a third horn in the back of his helmet. It looks even more awesome now!

The new gladiator is fancy!

I'll stop by to see you progress once in a while.

The tuft of hair poking through the helmet is a nice touch.

He's being animated in Spine now, so he should be in game by the end of the week - in some rough capacity anyway :) Adding hammers will be a separate task, so even though his visuals are close I'm not sure how quickly he will *play* as intended.

The head animation; I'm curious if the hair will move around seperately (like the rogue's)  as well.

We decided not to animate the Gladiator hair, as the plan is to animate his horns so that they fake a 3D-ish tilting effect. Not sure if our animator got around to that while we were at PAX - I couldn't tell if it was happening in-game, so I'll be checking with him on that tomorrow.

We could have animated the hair, but it wouldn't have been very noticeable, so we went for the bigger bang-for-buck items.

The gladiator looks amazing. I like his little cape. The attack animation is also super satisfying.

Thanks! I was also really happy with the "overhand" attack animation (as we call it). Has a really nice *snap* to it do to very heavy ease-in on the swing animation, where it starts super slow and then pops forward quickly at the end of the animation timeline - basically a slow beginning + very high acceleration.

Seems resonable.

So it's the natural movement of swinging a hammer. ^^
When the hammerhead reaches about the height of the horns, a carefull viewer notices the hammerhead flipping though.

I like how the lower part of the headgear doesn't move together with the face. Makes the helmet look like it sits tightly.

Looks like we hit the organic part of the drop. We'll see what you tell us about that gylphstone!
