Scratchy sketches and Drunken Sorcerers
« on: July 24, 2013, 11:36:19 PM »
I'll just share any any doodles of Delver's stuff here. I don't want to spend too much time, unless I really get to liking something.

ohh! I like it!  I actually enjoy the sketchiness of it.  Gives it some character!

Thanks! I'll be working on this kind of stuff later. If you couldn't tell, this is the Musketeer. However, I made it a point to take my favorite aspects of the old look and the new, to make something a little bit more new. I'm thinking of doing the Harlequinn class next.

Something I've thought about is doing some kind of narrative style readings on topics related to Delver's Drop. I was feeling pretty inspired by the narratives and readings from Night of the Rabbit, so I wanted to try something interesting.

Another doodle. This one's pretty old, but I felt like I should share it.

Also, how does one modify the size of an image, within a forum?

In my experience, dis button

Then you just drag the image proportions to your desired size with the little boxish boxes of image manipulatey goodness.

I HOPE THIS ASSISTS YOU IN YOUR PICTURE UPLOADING VENTURES!

Really sweet style on your most recent picture, I might slap a negative effect on it and make it my desktop picture! :P Negative effect because I prefer dark backgrounds if I'm gonna have em there all the time, not that I don't like it the way it is though, it's got that sweet pen ink drawing sort of look to it. XD

Thanks so much, man!  ;D

I totally don't mind what you do to the pics. Honestly, fanart isn't exactly something that has any right to itself. The resolution isn't so great, but if you can work with it, go for it!  ;)

At any rate. Deltius. Yeah. Thought you'd like this.

XD The twig sword and flies swooping around his head drive a really nice lighthearted comedic tone. I like how his hair swoops out and curls at the sides a bit. Fits pretty perfectly with DDrop's tone. Nice work! :)

;D Yeah, I thought a poking stick would be quirky thing to add. Since he's associated with muddle, nonsense and confusion, it's only natural to create something with good intentions but bad approaches. He'd probably have a few spats with the Harlequin class.

At first glance I thought he was holdming a spoon. Sadly its a scepter.

Seriously, I like the goggles (their brokenness is kind of in theme with the rest of the delvers) and the Heisenberg touch.

LoL it actually is a big, whimsical spoon. I was worknig with such a tiny space that I couldn't get very good details with an HB and 4H pencil. But, yeah, your first hunch was correct. I suppose making the stem part so swirly was a bad idea, but I wanted it to look more ornamental.

I love the giant beaker on his back. Only thing is that thing would hurt like hell if he fell back on it and it broke, giant stabby glass shards everywhere!

Well if the spoon is part of the design, gj.

The Soceror should be doubly dissapointed, because they didn't even get his name right.
