Just finnished Resident Evil: Revelations.

Man, all these years of Dead Space etc made me forget how scary scarce ammon and slow enemies combined can be.

Played the demo for Among the Sleep. One of the more interesting ideas for a game. Really surprised it hadn't been tried before.

I played the demo for that and I loved it. Locked Door has a new game in the works called Journal that was in the Megabooth with us as East, but I sadly know little about it. Kairo was a lot of fun, but I eat up those Myst-style things. Stoked for Mr. Blow's The Witness when it comes out.

Just picked up and played some Paranautical Activity, a "rogue-like" first person shooter. Pretty brutal, and by that I mean testicle crushingly difficult.

Oh hey, I remember seeing the Steam Greenlight page for that game, it actually looked really fun, (and testicle crushingly difficult, as you said) I ought to check it out one of these days, I dig those kinds of games! :P

You won't be disappointing. The sound track is also testicle crushing if you're into electronic/techno beats. If you're not...you may want to just crank the music off completely. The game is like being in a violent demon filled rave.

Finished Thomas Was Alone after getting it on the latest Humble Indie Bundle. I'm even more satisfied with it than I had thought I would be. Really great game, the writing and narrative really breathed life into such a simple concept; it shows how much you can do with so little when you pull it off in just the right way, I've never felt so much for a bunch of colored rectangles in my life! Very cool stuff, probably one of my favorite platformers now! :)

I played The White Chamber, a freeware point-and-click adventure/horror game from the same guy who made Kairo.  Really impressive.  The Kairo Demo left me confused more in terms of point than puzzle challenge.

Thomas Was Alone was spectacular, and the humble bundle that it is currently featured in has some other fantastic games in it.

I've been contemplating picking up Rush Bros, but haven't decided to pull the trigger yet.

Huh, damn shame. I really don't see the reason Valve needs to put up boundaries like that; if Adult Swim was genuinely interested in the project and wanted to help them get their game on Steam, let em do it. It's not like every single developer out there is just going to start getting publishers behind them and bypassing Greenlight like it's nothing, that's sort of the whole point of Greenlight: for when you can't find a publisher otherwise and want to get your game out there, then it's left down to the community to decide which games should make it on... And then it becomes a popularity contest.

TVTropes sums it up best.

The problem is, that you still need people who overlook and judge submitted games instead of letting votes alone decide.
Currently they have this weird Greenlight logic that says:You need to be already popular in order to get popular.

For you Paranautical Fans:

http://indiestatik.com/2013/05/31/paranautical-activity-rejected-from-steam-for-fear-of-suggesting-greenlight-can-be-bypassed-through-publishers/

*sigh* Be sure to vote for them on Greenlight!

Ya...been following him on Twitter. It's kinda B.S, which is a shame really.
