Got Skull Girls Beta. A lot of Guilty Gear in the characters from what I can tell which is rather refreshing. Not quite as fast paced and hectic however. Enjoying it though all the same.

Painwheel's been my favorite since I first tried her out. I thought I'd like Peacock best out of all of them, and I still do, but Painwheel fits my playstyle much better, plus I like her backstory and character design, lil' bit of Soul Calibur's Voldo in there I'd say XD

Squigly's really a great addition to the roster too, I haven't experimented with her much yet, but she feels really fun to play and her stance moves are quite neat. A couple of her moves feel like more versatile and powerful versions of Filia's, which is weird but I don't mind entirely, never was a big fan of Filia's moveset anyways.

I really like Valentine honestly, I prefer fast/dash heavy characters. I like Painwheel too though as well as Ms. Fortune. The game is devilishly gruesome and I like that about it.

Valentine's pretty great. I don't personally play her a lot but she's a really solid character. I've tried playing as Parasoul quite a bit and I like her playstyle, but I'm not exactly the best with her XD More of a secondary to Painwheel for me. Skullgirls is one of the only games I feel confident playing more than one or two characters in XD I can at least play competently on 2/3rds of the characters, so that's pretty good for me as a pretty average fighting game player.

Ya....Parasoul is pretty crazy and hard to use. I got your message and it's on!! :P Skullgirls doesn't move as fast as I'd like combat wise but I think that's a pretty good thing to be honest...the artwork is amazing and if it moved faster it'd be hard to see the CRAZY! level of detail they put into the game. I'm also really excited for the DLC characters.

Yeah, Big Band is gonna be a blast. I was really hoping for Stanley the Science Shark or Panzerfaust to win those character votes, but Beowulf is pretty awesome too and Eliza's parasite mechanic is really interesting. Can't wait to see how they play.

Currently playing crusader kings 2, magic 2014, last of us and some other small stuff. All of that is irrelevant, however, as in 3 days spelunky will be coming out on pc and that will be all I'll be playing. :D

I haven't stopped playing Animal Crossing since it came out, though I've gotten lazy with it. I mostly just check shops and fossils during my lunch break and leave it at that. I really want to get back to upgrading my house soon.

Also, Super Hexagon is madly addicting. It's given me a teeny bit of motion sickness, but after some time with the game the second level doesn't seem as fast as I remember it being. Definitely one of those games you get better at the more you play it.

I just started playing Don't Starve.  I must say that if you like survival games you should pick it up.  There is literally always something to be doing if you really want to survive a long time.  You have a sanity, hunger, and health meter which you need to always be looking out for.  It almost has a sense of stressfulness sometimes when your low on food or health or just trying to stay warm during winter, but I really enjoy it.  There is a main game to play which involves survivng through several specific worlds, but I just been playing the Sandbox mode which you can customize to your liking.  It has a very Tim Burton'ish style to it aswell which appeals to me!  Id suggest checking it out!

I had a chance to sneak into the expo hall early on Monday and PAX and managed to get into the last match of Titanfall before the doors opened for the day, and I'm hear to preach the good news of that game. I do not like Call of Duty, period. But this thing is amazing, mostly because it emulates more of the Battlefield class-based focus (which I feel is what makes that game great to play strategically) while keeping the raw action of CoD (which is a great feature, if it weren't CoD's only feature).

Also there are giant robots. It is equally as fun to pilot one and stomp on people as it is to jump jet onto the back of an enemy Titan, rip off its gyro panel, and fire your gun merrily away like it's Christmas and bullets are an endless supply of gifts.

I don't tend to get excited about AAA titles much, but this one is pretty slick for a variety of reasons.

Teleglitch. It's surprisingly eerie at times, especially with its minimalistic yet intense sound design. I love the distortion effect when you're shooting bullets or going through a teleportation device, and the lo-fi graphics have this weird effect of making the creatures more intimidating (kind of how older horror games had a strange effect of instilling fear almost because of the limited detail, fear of the unknown I suppose). Haven't gotten too far into it yet, but very interesting in terms of learning new lore from terminals, discovering scary new enemies, all that good stuff. Feels very much like an unyielding fight for survival, and I think they pull it off quite well.

Also been playing a bit of La-Mulana here and there, that game takes your brain for a spin. Nearly got myself permanently stuck in the Twin Labyrinth without the Holy Grail but luckily managed to find my way back to the Temple of the Sun through the Inferno Caverns... Don't explore too intensely until you find that Grail by the way. XD

@Deltius: I have this game sitting in my libary since december, I never touched it ever since, because I couldn't stant the kiting that you had to do. They seemed to have added a tremendous amount of content since then, so I might come back and check it out again.

@Burrell: Didn't expect you to be into shooters much. ^^

@Quady: Finished La-Mulana once. I'm not touching that game again.

I'm into pretty much everything except fighting games and survival horror, and even those I've at least dabbled in. That said, the shooters I enjoy are the ones where reflex-based play is mingled with strategy and levels that allow for *gasp* tactics.
