Info + Updates / Re: So - is Delver's Drop actually dead, now?
« on: February 08, 2017, 08:07:20 AM »

So what's the status of the game now? If it's dead is there a way to get my money back?

Hi, Shin. The game is definitely not dead, and we are still in active production. I apologize that the forums have gone to the wayside in the meantime, but please don't take it as a sign that we aren't working! For more information on our status and progress, you may want to read our newest Kickstarter Updates here:

Or if you have additional questions, the best way to get in touch with us directly is by emailing I'd be happy to answer any specific questions you may have!

I'd like to suggest a cat.  It should be a different with a white face and black stripes...Oh, and to set it apart, it should be an alien from another planet.  Maybe it can do something rad like drive people insane.  Plus, it should have weapons that are somehow not evident but available in combat, gunclaws!

*scampers away*  :-*

Hahaha, okay so I didn't realize your twitter avatar had gunclaws! :D

As for the forum, it has definitely slowed down, but we were never super super popular to begin with :D Hopefully things will pick up when we get the game onto Steam Early Access.

Hey, Gwyndion. Since you took the time to post on the forums, I will apologize to you directly -- Sorry we've been so slow on our progress, and negligent in posting progress updates. As Doomspeaker said, the forum post is the best summary of what's going on now / has been going on. But if you have any other questions, feel free to ask them here, or direct message me. Or you can email us at

Yeah, it does seem pretty strikingly similar to me, too. I would consider it flattery, though, I think their character design is better than mine.

How did I not sign up until now?  Bad oversight.  Anyways, I'm Paws~  I hang out in the streams and have strong opinions about colour choices in games.  I own a website ( and I'm a freelancer social media coordinator for video game companies, which is both fun and irritating.  Can't wait for Delver's Drop to come out, loved it since I first saw it at PAX Prime in...2011?  2012?!  :o

Yep, 2012 :) And I have been a fan of RPGamer for a long time, so both welcome aboard the forums, and many well-wishes for your own website + community!

P.S. forum people, go support !

Sweet! Post some of your recent design documentation / mockups / concept art - we'd love to take a look.

I see the subforums here have all been rearranged. It even took a bit to find where this thread was again. I've re-checkmarked this thread to recieve notifications again.

Sorry for the inconvenience! I should have known some of you would have specific pages bookmarked :( but I hoped the redirection notices would help. I reorganized the forums to help new users find things more easily, to deprecate some unnecessary boards with very few posts, and to promote some sections with more or more frequent posts by bringing them to the forefront. So hopefully in the future this thread will be even more prominent since it's in the dedicated "game news" (Games on Draught) section :)

Hello all,

I got my degree in Computer Science from the University of Missouri last fall. Like many others, I grew up playing video games, and went into computer science with the hope of someday coding them. I'm very excited to have found such an opportunity with Pixelscopic, and I'm happy to work on a game that so many people are looking forward to!

P.S. - BigText is our new programming intern, turned contractor! He's going to be helping on Delver's Drop part time.
